Welsh composer and drummer Zoot Warren is steadily gaining recognition as a daring craftsman of sound. His roots roam freely in the fields of jazz, world and classical music. He is a recording artist for CAM Jazz and has appeared on Radio Cymru and BR Klassik (GER). He studied at the Guildhall School in London and is an alumnus of National Youth Jazz Wales and Ysgol Glanaethwy.

He has played alongside: Huw Warren, Dudley Phillips, Iain Ballamy, Mark Lockheart, Percy Pursglove, Pat Thomas, John Parricelli, Steve Berry, Neil Yates, Paula Gardiner, Martin Speake and Yuri Goloubev. Also with rising-stars: Irini Arabatzi, Tom Barford, Ben Comeau, Conor Chaplin, Adam McLoughlin, Inga Eichler and Tom Ollendorff. Wider collaborations include: Maria Lamburn, Kev Fox, Gwilym Morus and Stuart Silver.

Zoot is thankful for the guidance he has received from tutors: James Maddren, Scott Stroman, Barak Schmool, Trevor Tomkins, Martin Hathaway, Trish Clowes and Geoff Nicholls.
